Olga Stella, vice president of business development at the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC), sees the potential of the X Games as a welcome and positive impact for the city, both in the short term and the long term.

DEGC’s D2D program,  connects local businesses with buyers. “I think if the X Games come to Detroit that we would then sit down with the organizers and help them figure out their procurement strategy is,” Stella said. “And how small businesses can be a part of that.”
