15 companies have partnered with D2D to help them increase their local spend with quality companies to meet their demand.  With an already impressive collective aggregated baseline spend of over $550M with Detroit vendors, the D2D program will be supporting these companies a with a number of tools and strategies to help strengthen their Detroit vendor base.  According to the “Major Purchaser’s Survey” completed by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City in 2012, “Strengthening local B2B in Detroit has the potential to support an additional 7,700 jobs and over $2.5 billion in firm revenue.”
